Pumpkin Paper Craft

Pumpkin is the most popular craft for the harvest season, especially for Halloween. My pumpkin isn’t scary, it’s happy and cheerful. I hope this craft will create a merry atmosphere in your classroom or house if you teach kids at home. This craft goes with my vegetables song:

While making this craft your child will learn about:

• orange and green colors
• vegetables
• the country life in autumn (fall)
• Halloween

You’ll also help your kid develop:

• fine motor skills
• hand-eye coordination
• sense of space
• imagination
• creativity
• emotional intelligence

For this craft you’ll need the following:

• paper;
• scissors;
• glue or a glue stick;
• wiggle eyes (optional).

Step-by-step instructions:

• Print the templates of the pumpkin craft which can be found below.

• Cut out all the parts. If your child can’t cut out you can help him/her.

• Stick the pumpkin onto the paper, and then stick hands, legs and a pumpkin stalk.

• Stick the face of the pumpkin. You can cut out a mouth, a nose and two eyes from the template or draw your own ones on the pumpkin. Or you can use wiggle eyes if you like to make your pumpkin happy and cheerful.
