My old letter tracing worksheets proved to be very helpful in my classroom and popular among fellow English teachers as these prinables are one of the most popular items in my online shop. So I decided to design an extended printable ABC learning set that includes letter tracing and other tasks for preschool and elementary school students.

A big part of my students are elementary school kids. That is why I have designed a good number of printable English teaching materials for my 1st grade students. The printables include flashcards, posters, awards, worksheets, games, coloring pages etc. Many of them have already been published in my blog. This is another blog post that I create to systematize the collection of English teaching materials I’ve been publishing through years on my blog and help fellow ESL teachers find what they are looking for. A large part of flashcards and worksheets I created are dedicated to English letters and sounds. After all I teach English mostly to very young students who are just getting to know the language through the alphabet, phonics and first high frequency words they try to memorize, recognize and read.

The worksheets feature lowercase and uppercase letters and coloring pictures to add some fun for kids while tracing. Teaching kids how to write letters through tracing worksheets is especially useful for preschoolers who learn English as second language. Firstly, they just start learning how to write even their native language alphabet and, secondly, their native alphabet may be way different from English. That's why kids in China, South Korea, Japan, Arab countries need more time to practice writing Latin alphabet. And this is where my letter tracing worksheets can be handy. Hopefully, these printable alphabet tracing worksheets will save teachers' time and add more interest to their English classes. Besides uppercase and lowercase letters, I added cute coloring pictures to the sheets for little kids to get a little bit distracted if they are bored or tired of handwriting. So obviously my alphabet tracing worksheets are especially good for preschoolers and early school children. And I hope both educators and their students will enjoy working with the printable handwriting pages I designed for them.

Letter Tracing Worksheets (Letters A - J)

Letter tracing worksheets are the first thing to be used by English teachers introducing the alphabet to kids. They are especially indispensable for ESL teachers working with preschoolers in countries with non-Latin languages where letters considerably differ from the English ABC. Children in China, Japan, Korea and Arabic countries are likely to require more time to get used to English ABC and train themselves to write letters. They need more practice and letter tracing worksheets can be a great help in developing their basic handwriting and letter recognition skills.

I've decided to help educators teach children how to write English alphabet. So I've designed printable letter tracing worksheets that teachers can hand out to little students and ask them to trace uppercase and lowercase letters. To make the alphabet writing practice even more fun I've added coloring images starting with a letter to be traced. This makes the worksheets usable even for kindergarten where coloring is a popular activity for small kids with a short attention span.

Letter B Song. Bee Song for Kids Learning English ABC

This is my second video of the simple ABC songs series for kids learning English. This one is a letter B song and it is about a bee. The song is really simple as it’s targeted at preschool and elementary school children that are starting to learn English as a foreign language. It’s also easy to memorize just like any nursery rhyme even if kids do not know all the words yet. I really hope this little song of mine will help you introduce the letter B in a fun way to your ESL students.

Letter A Song. Alligator Song for Kids Learning English ABC.

I like using very simple and short songs when I introduce English alphabet to kids. That's why I decided to create a series of mini-songs for each letter to be used in my lessons dedicated to learning and writing ABC. This is the first song from the future series. I'll be adding new video as soon as I create them. I hope I'll be able to create a nice ABC songs collection for myself and my fellow teachers who work with little children.

This first song is naturally a letter A song. It's about an angry alligator. So here is the video:
